After a lot of debugging I now have a UADE plugin that plays audio but there's still major issues that need to be fixed with regards to cleaning up of resources before it can be released.

Once you finish the UADE would you able to make also a fresh new wma plugin ?

Actually I use the one developed by Curty but there are some issue with it, wma file will be played correctly in TuneNet but if i have the same wma files saved in playlist (file m3u) the file are not showed correctly into the TuneNet GUI, file still exist in playlist of course but somewhere "hidden" into the GUI of the player

For example: say we have 4 wma audio files

1 - the night.wma
2 - the day.wma
3 - the night.wma
4 - the day.wma

The first 2 files will be hidden even if availible on the player

Also the name of the song selected will be sometimes corrupted, only when selected and in playing, this one may be a little TuneNet bug aswell, don't know

I think most of the major bugs should be fixed now.

I've put up a "beta" version that you can test:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26599983/uade_tnplug-beta.7z (just extract the entire archive into TuneNet/Plugins/)

If it works correctly I will make a proper release of it.

Note that to use the plugin you will need to have a working UADE installation:

I checked Plugins tab in Tunenet's Preferences and XMP plugin is not even loaded at all so no wonder xm and s3m files are not even loaded (yes, I do have TN_XMP.bin in the data dir and, of course, the plugin itself in the plugin dir). Do anybody know does it require any specific libraries installed ?

That sounds like you're using my old XMP plugin and not Chris' newer one:

Great news! A Tunenet plugin based on UADE is finally available, made by Salass00, and with that, Tunenet supports 166(!!!) more amiga music formats!!!

Sure. By "semi working" do you mean that it already compiles on ppc-amigaos but has problems when run (maybe endian related?)?

Does it play any sound on AmigaOS for you? It doesn't play anything at all here (just silence).

FWIW it looks very much like the code I used last time I tried to make a TuneNet WSR plugin and FWICT so far it seems to suffer from the same problem as well.

No it doesnt. But it does under windows.
I guess it could be some endian thing?
I have another version as well that doesn't use sdl_mixer but it's stuck on my packed down amiga atm. The non sdl_mixer version was silent too though.
