OK, that sounds like either you've lost the SLB out of the RDB (this is pretty much impossible to do accidentally), the HD has completely failed or become disconnected, or you've changed and saved the wrong boot device in U-Boot.

The CD you tried to boot off, is this the original one that came with your SAM? If it is and it won't boot off that either, there's something very wrong. I suggest you open it up and make sure all the cables are pushed in fully, then try again.

Thank you for all the replies. At this point, I will just pack my computer and bring it with me to Amiwest later this month.

I have to leave again in another business trip. Hopefully I will be back on time to spend at least one day at Amiwest.
