About five months ago, we put in a special request to Hyperion so that the extra memory available on the AmigaONE X1000 and future A-EON systems could be used in AmigaOS. I am pleased to report that they implemented that feature now, here is the relevant recent post:

Hyperion have stated that more details will follow in due course when they are ready to publish news release.

This was an important feature that our customers told us they wanted, so we are very happy that it is implemented now. Of course work carries on with more software support.

Ah, that one...your wording implied that some other memory based change was added (or better my reading implied)

Does that mean that if i nag long enough at you, i can wish for any feature i'd like to have and you'll convince Hyperion to implement it?

I'm a customer and this is a very important feature to me and i want it!

Don't forget there are certain developers on this forum that deserve the full credit for the software and the many hours of hard work. I am sure that Trevor will reveal all of this in due course, nearer release.

It was posted on A-Eons Facebook. I think the case is owned by Tony Wyatt. It is home made from an old beacon and drain pipe.
