Nice work. Keep it up,
It will be fast enough when we get the X1000,and you make it dual core support.

Any chance of releasing glib and gettext libraries on OS4Depot?

Glib is a dependency of gnash and gettext is needed for glib so I assume you should have both of these compiled already.

At the moment there are several projects that I can't compile for OS4 as I don't have these libs. I've tried compiling them myself but so far I've only managed to compile gettext (no idea if it's working or not). Probably there are other developers who would find them useful as well.

those are dependencies only on linux not on os4.
BTW i have a glib2 version that shoud work.. indeed it is used in iODBC. gettext has never worked correctly and so you will never read po files correctly.. and however it is an old lib that i don't know where is born

tell me where i can send them.

i'm really tired...

Hi Andrea,

apart from it being slow and apart from the fact that this is not your fault, would it be possible to release 0.8.7 as an intermediate beta release?

We could play some more with an updated and more bug resitant release

Thanks for the great work so far

Slow, slow, slow thats all I hear about Gnash. And its not even Gnash's fault its flash's fault.

I have an iBook G4 thats starting to gather dust which I have had for 5 years now - the entire time Flash performed like the UK in the Eurovision.

Flash is plain slow there is no getting away from it will never make a difference how good Gnash performs.

The future is not Flash, the future is open-source - the Steve Jobs dream. One which many people the world over subscribe to.

Who knows what the future brings, but in the meantime it would be nice with a flash capable player at decent speed.
