I?m having progress on this... Thanks to John C Clenance for pointing out some issues, I hopefully give him a new driver to test soon...
Anyway I like to know if it?s possible to make mount list that do not obtain the media size from the block device?
I like to use lowcyl=0 if I can, tried whit lowcyl=2 but format command verifies the first blocks that contains some garbage, so I can?t use that!, even when I?m not formatting block 0?

I?m rewiring part of the code, problems whit WaitIO(), and CheckIO(), tiring to clean up the code, I?m hoping every thing will work better when that is done.

BTW, also off topic -- What model/year is your Studebaker?
Thanks for the chance to chalk up another post! (almomst like a tag team, aren't we?)
The Stude is a 1950 Land Cruiser. It's definitely a typical midwestern rust bucket project car. The front floors are pretty much gone, along with the rockers. But it runs and "yard drives". And until "Amigans.net" opened up, it proved to be a lot more fun as a hobby than Amiga's.

Then I tried CW.DEVICE has worked for some time under update 4 (99% done), it lockups under OS4 final, sg2 or TonyW one of you did say some thing about needing to change some thing in your devices because of new memory system, I like to know what.
New feature in OS4: Invalid devices show up on workbench as that, that?s where kind of you (It?s boring formatting disks using CLI.)
If find out what the problem is I hope it will be ready for the new year.
