gurus with DSI: ohci and ehci

I keep getting gurus with the two referenced modules having DSI's. If I kill them, the machine continues to work. So I just commented them out in kicklayout and rebooted. But I see my USB sticks are no longer recognized. Preciely what do the ehci and ohci modules control? Mass storage USB? Anything else?

@Paul

They are the lowlevel USB drivers, so removing them will naturally disable USB

OHCI is the 1.1 driver and EHCO is the 2.0 driver (which needs the 1.1 part to be present)

When do you get these DSI's?

What version of the OS on what hardware etc etc

@broadblues

They seem to hit at random times. I have a PCI USB 2.0 card which powers my case USB ports.

A1-XE G4 (fixed MB)

OS 4.1FE (see sig for other specs)
