Because I never report bugs to Hyperion (Just complain), and don't remember the password probably, I not that interested in giving user support.

It the same type pak files that is used in quake II, just look in installer script to see how the files are unpacked.

Note I also only tried the Demo version, the full-version might work worse or better

i just tested it on my X5k with the warpup demos, quakewos & wipeout2097 and only wipeout failed. Thats impressive for such a young project!

I don't even know if anyone has tested the E5500 support yet.

if you just tested it on your X5K, then you've tested e5500 support.

@Thread

I would like to show you some pics from
internal reWarp testings done on a X1000.

After Dennis pumped life into reWarp I tested one
of the first WarpOS programs "VoxelEngine" under
AmigaOS4.1FE.
You can find it in the original WarpOS5 distribution on Aminet.

Well what can I say.......it flysssssssss!!!!!

VoxelEngine

What you can see is a highres voxel terrain running a smooth 30fps @ 1600x1200.
Even switching ON-THE-FLY to the JIT-68K Emulator of OS4.1 works great.

I even tried crazy stuff - Have a look:

CRAZY

Next test I've done was FlashMand WOS

FlashMand and a happy guy

Quake1 WOS (Frank Wille's Port) rendered by CPU
Resolution 1280x1024 @ 33FPS

Quake1 WOS

The latest stage of reWarp development even initialized Warp3D!!!
For my test cases I used Wazp3D as suggested by the author.

BlitzQuake 5.6 aka GLQuake

There is still a lot of work to do but it looks very promising.

First you need a stack of 1000000 (type stack 1000000 in your shell)
than execute with GLQuake with -ahi -window.

Please remember I used Wazp3D for testings. Real Warp3D hardware acceleration might crash (SI gives a grey screen) at this stage.

reWarp is in early dev stages!!!

I am trying to install HereticII and I am able to do it (installing also the required library: ixemul.library, installer and wizard.library) but I have a GR at the end of installation process when it asks me the registration code..

I did a crashlog file with GR but I don't know how to read and understand the crashlog.. any hint where to start?

hmmm 13 days and no updates on a project that was being updated daily?

Author holidays, has it stalled, or do you think it may have been hoovered up as a contribution for the rumoured AmigaOS4.1fe update1 release?

HAs anyone actually delivered a bug report? Devs usually like to see that their job interest people.

I notice that everyone just bring some ugly reports to the forum threads, and then, disappear. But devs few times says: make a proper bug reports and submit reports on their project page. They even write a "how to report" guide:
https://github.com/Sakura-IT/ReWarp/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

But still, everyone just bring "it didn't work" or "it crashes" on aw.net, instead of making proper (proper mean how in their how-to-report guide) bug report on their page (not in forum threads, they ask few times to make reports on their page).

I for myself not at home and have no access to my amigas, but im surprised no one make proper report. Like for example samo79 :) who always make proper reports, but not in that case :)

I imagine that even now, someone will report something here, like "i tried wipeout, and its simple crashes", without actually deliver normal report on their project page.

I have some stupid questions wich may or may not relate this.

I tested Payback. I can't get Travis to turn left or right, is it issue of WarpOS or a Petunia?

It has a wrong colors on start screen, but when menus open everything is OK. It seems to freeze my Sam 440ep Flex after some time, just like original warpos. What to say to report?

Make sure you have the LATEST version of Payback (fully patched). This may help. And make sure you configure it correctly. 68k version works fine for me, on both Sam440 & X1000, using Software Rendering (as Warp3D doesn't work correctly on Sam440). What has Petunia to do with WarpOS?!?

P.S. Unlike the 68k version, the PPC version will have NO sound on Non-Classic machines, because PPC version uses hardware banging (rather than audio.device or AHI) for speed (by trying to reduce 68k+PPC context switches I believe).

Sorry my mistake. I have also a problems with keyboard with 68k version, but it works when I configure amiga input. With warpos version that doesn't help.
