It could possibly be a bit brighter, but I think it matches in well with the overall scheme of the site. I think I read, when looking about, that skinnable colour schemes as per AW.net are planned, but not yet implemented.

@MikeyC
Thats a good idea a theme from Outcast
if the site becomes skinable we can use many different skins done by the members etc

The site is prepared for being skinnable. Xoops is skinnable by default but does not support non css skinning. We have added a framework for that (non css skinning), but it needs a tiny bit of tweaking to make it final. It's not a priority at the moment though.

I'll agree that it does need to stand out more, although as it is it does look nice. Maybe the letters for "amigans.net" could be outlined in red....

I thinks the banner is fine just as it is. Banners don't have to be loud and in your face, i believe that the whole web page should all blend and be practical, which it is at the moment. That's all i have to say this second, more comments will come later on!

The whole webpage should be brighter and less grey IMHO. And graphics on top should be sharp and crisp, it's very blurry at the moment, it's like watching it through an A520 modulator :)
