How to install Baldurs Gate for GemRB???

Hi Guys,

Ive got a copy of Baldurs gate here but my windows laptop has gone to silicon heaven. Until I can save up to get a new one does anyone know what files I need to get off the 5 CD's(!) and copy over to so that I can get it running under GemRB??

try removing the HD from your laptop and plugging it into an external usb case if you have one and just copy the installed baldurs gate. iirc there are instructions on how to install things in the docs so RTFM first..

Well, A few months ago, I tried to install Baldur'sgate too.
I never succeded. I don't know if it is an problem of game installation, configuration of the init file of gemrb or both.
So if you would want to pm me or put here the solution, I would be happy.

Read french newspaper AmigaPower issue 50.

I made an article about how to install BG1and BG2 with GemRB.

After the engine supports all five games so that they can be completed "normally", I think an installer would be in order.

Note that the current build will always read gemrb.cfg , not an arbitrary name.
