yes Kas1e it is be a good compromise for the old AmigaNg machine , just because Radeon HD on amigaone make the machine not loose the Dma and on Pegasos2 there isnt the opportunity for have a RadeonHD.
Plus the Radeon 9800 gave 25gb/s memory bandwitch and a rendering quality of an Xbox 360

Tested on my peg2: it works. Through, what i notice is that downloading of maps are veeery slow (while my connection of course fast enough and from all other apps like browsers and messengers all is fast). Its just about 7-10kb/sec always. Maybe slow servers from their side, dunno, but worth of note anyway.

You have 2 choices, server and site
choice site it's speedup compared at the server, it's not this port just an server low

Tested it ... on the Xe 933 with Radeon 9250 128bit ... at 640x480 run from 9 to 43 fps ... everything depends from the number of players on screen.

Strange yours are more or less the same FPS speed i gain from my little SamFlex 800 ..

I don't know samo probably depends from the map or from the number of player on the same session.... my last one we was 14 ... i forgot the name of the map :P
