Amiga Events : New version of A/Nes
Posted by Alkaron on 2008/1/21 21:56:44 (2219 reads)
Amiga Events

http://www.anes.se/

Today I've uploaded A/NES v1.16b2, feel free to check it out. Some minor things has been fixed and one new feature has been added. It allows you to "simulate" the sound from the FDS diskdrive while running an FDS game. Insert a standard AmigaDOS floppy in your DF0: and activate the setting in the preferences section. Your Amiga diskdrive will simulate the read on your floppy to let you know when the FDS is actually reading.
Kind of useless, but fun perhaps? :)
Now for the sad news. This is most likely the end of A/NES. Due to lack of free time, lack of interest (hard to maintain these amounts of code) and due to lack of Amiga-users I've decided to put A/NES on ice from now on.
It's been fun but now it's over. Thanks for the feedback we've got during these years!

Tubexx use mplayer to see videos and ffmpeg for the conversion.
There are so much possibilities built in Tubexx and you can find them

Posted by Dary on 2008/1/20 20:20:15 (1555 reads)
Software News

The XTR or in full name Xtreme Racing was released in 1995 by Silltunna Software Ltd. (now Tuna Technologies Limited) In my opinion, it is the best racing game on Amiga, if you knows it, you know it is a real curio, with a wonderful playability. I announce it happily, by favour of the Silltunna aka Tuna Technologies Limited, the following AmigaSYS versions (WinUAE, E-UAE, Amiga 1200/4000, XBOX) will contain the full HD version (Game+Editor) of the game! A separate downloadable version will not included only the built-in version in the AmigaSYS.

Software News : ColEm 1.0 Release 5
Posted by BobW on 2008/1/20 9:12:03 (2090 reads)
Software News

I just uploaded Release 5 of ColEm to OS4 Depot.

Colem is an OS4 native port of Marat Fayzullin's ColEm Colecovision emulator.

This version has several new improvements including the ability to double the display size, much improved AHI based sound, P96 based graphics and better game compatibility.

I'm especially interested in hearing from OS4 classic users since I've only been able to test on my AmigaOne.

Have Fun!
