Hello everyone,

Here is an article which describes how to run both Debian and AmigaOS 4.x on the same harddisk of a Sam440 system.

It explains step by step how to install Debian and how to use the Parthenope bootloader to load both operating systems.

It might work by accident most of the time with AmigaOS SFS\0 partititions as well, but not reliable. Since it doesn't support FFS partitions either, at least not the long name formats required for an AmigaOS 4.x boot partition, it can't be used for booting AmigaOS 4.x from a FFS partition either, i.e. it can't be used for booting AmigaOS 4.x at all, only for booting AROS and Linux. SFS2 isn't copyrighted by Hyperion Entertainment.
