I wish he'd list what those bugs+improvements actually were, because looking them up on OS4Depot is a real pain:

510   Bug   Opening an output stream and add some text
509   Bug   GetElementsByTagName & GetElementsByName
499   Bug   Google Docs menus/buttons stop responding  (HURRAH!)
498   Suggestion   Security Hole: Frame spoofing does work with OWB
494   Bug   certificates issue
493   Bug   W3Schools: Replace the current document
486   Bug   ß cannot be found with with search
485   Suggestion   Catch the real name of the file when saved
484   Suggestion   Added CTRL+b/u/i support for bold, italic and underline
483   Suggestion   Use middle-click for free scrolling
480   Suggestion   Show real source name of the page (on tabs)
478   Bug   STARTPAGE=about :blank no longer working
461   Bug   Twice replays if you come back with left arrow after submit
453   Bug   Alert innerHTML of an element with a specific ID

P.S. Is it me, or is OWB even more responsive now?

Check the upload link on Depot, it should be moved soon though.

BTW, there is a "bug" with the toolbar graphics: The refresh icon has a strange white background square.

The fix is to double-click on "Install AISS" in OWB's folder.

Not sure if this is really worth reporting...

What is this Ctrl-B thing?

Is it supposed to put all the page in bold? It doesn't do anything here.

@samo79

Good update. I found that although 3.27 was good it would sometimes freeze up when opening some pages, as though OWB was taking a while to think things through (never experienced a crash to date with OWB). This freezing typically happened when opening lots of ebay items in tabs. Doesn't seem to be a problem anymore, can carry on scrolling through a page with listings uninterrupted. Nice!

Also like the new (?) tooltype that lets you change context menus to RMB as using middle wheel button sometimes had unintended consequences with my mouse .

Middle button now seems to automatically open links in a new tab (no context menus), good stuff!

Thanks for the update Jörg.

Maybe it's time to download it then. It has no nasty bugs yet?

It's a new image, I updated some of the old toolbar images to the AISS version 4.9 ones.

Only if you have an old version of AISS installed.

I see the "Open Local File" bug from 3.27 hasn't been fixed. Is this because no one has reported it formally?

It was reported, I just didn't have the time yet to check why OWB replaces space chars with %20 in file: URLs now.

Update ... see post #54

I discovered that I could read my local files if I used my hostname as follows:

file://minuet/dh1/webpage/myfile.html

hostname of my MicroA1 system = minuet
partition = DH1:
directory = webpage
filename = myfile.html

Works fine typing into the url string or as a bookmark.
