Did you use my samba for idiots site? it touches on passwords briefly, if not there is an article on amigaworld which covers samba security quite well.

Yes mike i did use your samba site thats how i got it to this stage just the fact that i have vista and it need passwords unlike xp or 2000

Which is no longer being made, the company went bust etc, etc. Wouldn't win against MS's Billions.

There is also a VISTA program used within publishing houses, they would have sue'd microsoft for brand dillusion, but, I doubt they have the money too.
