DevKit for AmiKit, help needed

Hello.

I was speaking to AmiKit a bit about having a single download Amiga SDK addon for AmiKit.

He though that this would be a great idea, but that he didn't have the knowledge to put that together himself.

It there any Amiga 68k devs around here that could help AmiKit create such a package? What I mean is a GCC based environment from which you can do Amiga 68k development.

I have no idea myself what this would entail, perhaps just package GeekGadgets together in a single archive preconfigured for an AmiKit install or some such?

The amiga includes etc could be copied from a amiga dev cd much like the amikit install itself if there's copyright problems.

Theres a package for OS3.x called Develop here: http://shinkuro.altervista.org/amiga/guida/english/index.htm

It's basically an install of GeekGadgets/GCC for AmigaOS... I'm going to try and see if it solves my problems... Maybe AmiKit could use this?

Alex.

AmiKit already contains MicroGoldEd. Why not ask the author for permission to include the complete CubicIDE demo ?

This website has alot of coding info, which also has a gcc hard disk file for Winuae :

http://amiga.sourceforge.net/amigadevhelp/

I use the hard disk image, but some of the programs are old, lack of examples and lack of tutorials.

But it is a working suite that is impressive.

We also need to add AmosPro

And AmiBlitz 3 has a good editor
http://amiblitz3.amiforce.de

Its a shame no one is working together to create an upto date suite with the most popular languages.

A community driven project, which I dont mind help.
